Ashleigh Bachert assumed the position at the Durham Sports Commission less than a year after it was established.  In her first year, she actively worked to support local events, recruited a national championship, increased community engagement, and spearhead a facility feasibility study.

John David is the Chief Operating Officer of USA BMX, the World's Largest Sanctioning Body for the Olympic sport of bicycle motocross racing (BMX), where he has been since 2000.  John focuses heavily on the creation of the USA BMX annual national series.

For almost 10 years, Josh Dill has used an entrepreneurial approach to sports events and tourism to conquer the unique challenges he has faced at each of the three destinations he has sold.  Prior to joining the sports and tourism world, Josh spent two years working in minor leagues.

Kindra Fry has worked in the hospitality & sports tourism industry for 17 years.  Kindra serves as the Vice Chair/Chair Elect for the National Association of Sports Commissions Board of Directors (NASC).

JASON SANDS

Director of Sports, Fort Worth Sports

Jason Sands took over the Fort Worth CVB's sports team in May of 2017.  Prior to the he was the Executive Director of the Evansville Sports Corporation for four years.  During his time in Evansville he oversaw events like the NCAA DII Men's Basketball National Championships.

Dani Timm, a 15 year veteran in the sports marketing field, has been recognized for her outstanding success in sports marketing sales, crediting teamwork for her incredible success.  Dani continually strives to improve sports tourism in the Virginia Beach area and is excited about the positive change coming in the future.

Sue Hollenbeck

Sue Hollenbeck has been the Director of Sports Business for the Oklahoma City CVB since April of 2014.  Sue is responsibile for supporting and working with annual events such as the NCAA Women's College World Series.

Jennifer Stoll

Executive Director, GGJSC

Jennifer Stoll manages the Greater Grand Junction Sport Commission community-based athletic events, including the US Bank Rim Rock Marathon and the Special Olympics Colorado Summer Games.  Jennifer is pursuing a doctorate in Sport Management at Troy University.

Omaha sports Commission

Josh Todd has over a decade of experience in the sports tourism and events industry.  Josh took over the helm of the Omaha Sports Commission in February of 2018. Josh's well rounded experience includes work with Disney at ESPN's Wide World of Sports, the Huddle Up Group, and the Director of Sports for Visit Mesa (AZ).

William Knox

Director, Grand Park

William Knox is the Director of the Grand Park Sports Campus in Westfield, Indiana.  William oversees the marketing and operation of the 400-acre campus that includes the 370,000 sq. ft. Grand Park Events Center.

Matt ten haken

Director of Sports marketing, fox cities cvb

Matt Ten Haken started with the Fox Cities CVB in June of 2010 and oversees the recruitment, creation, and growth of nearly 200 annual sporting events in the greater Appleton area.  He is currently leading efforts to build a new $25 million indoor sports faciltty in Fox Cities.
